Passionate, dedicated, and results-driven, Brook is a committed dog trainer determined to elevate the standard of canine care in her local community. Her journey into dog training commenced when she recognized a significant gap in the availability of quality, qualified, and science-based training services.

 

Unlike many other dog trainers, Brook initially pursued a path in human psychology after completing her Associate’s of Arts Degree with a major in psychology. However, fate took an unexpected turn.

During this period, Brook faced challenges with her beloved rescue, Romeo, a 110lb hound mix struggling with resource guarding issues. Despite exhaustively searching for assistance, she encountered a shortage of experienced, qualified, and knowledgeable trainers in her community and the surrounding area.

 

Driven by a determination to provide the help Romeo needed and deserved, Brook embarked on a comprehensive research and comparison journey into dog training courses. In 2017, she earned her certification as an Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer.

Having experienced the difficulties firsthand, Brook recognized that other pet owners in her county were likely facing similar challenges. In 2018, Brook's Dog Training Academy (B.D.T.A) was born.

 

Since its inception, Brook has empowered numerous individuals to communicate effectively with their dogs, fostering stronger human-canine bonds. Committed to continuous personal and professional development, she has pursued additional courses to ensure her methods remain relevant, science-backed, and consistently effective
